Description:
Promoting National Cohesion (PNC) extended timely and compassionate humanitarian support to marginalized and displaced communities affected by the 2025 flash floods across Sindh and South Punjab. Recognizing the urgent needs of vulnerable populations—particularly women, children, and the elderly—PNC mobilized rapid response efforts to deliver life-saving assistance in the immediate aftermath of the disaster.
The organization provided both cooked meals for immediate consumption and uncooked food packages to ensure food security for affected families over the following days. Access to safe and clean drinking water was ensured through the distribution of water supplies, helping to prevent the spread of waterborne diseases in flood-affected areas.
In addition, PNC distributed essential shelter-related items, including tents, tarpaulins, bedding, and other non-food items, enabling displaced families to establish temporary living spaces with a degree of safety and dignity. Special attention was given to the needs of women and adolescent girls through the provision of dignity kits, which included essential hygiene products to support their health, privacy, and well-being during the crisis.
Through these coordinated relief efforts, PNC not only addressed the immediate survival needs of affected communities but also upheld the dignity and resilience of those facing displacement and hardship.
