Promoting National Cohesion is a registered non-profit organization with the Charities Wing of Islamabad Capital Territory.

Idea of the Promoting National Cohesion is envisaged after discussions amongst the key experts in the development sector of Pakistan. Promoting National Cohesion is a registered not-for-profit organization in Pakistan committed to promoting national cohesion and fostering unity among diverse communities within our nation. Established and registered in 2020 & 2024 respectively, we work tirelessly to bridge social, cultural, and economic divides, creating a harmonious and inclusive society where every individual feels valued and empowered. Promoting National Cohesion emphasizes on social equity while empowering communities, promoting education, and advocating for human rights and environmental sustainability. Our organization is driven by the belief that a cohesive nation is the foundation of sustainable development, social justice, and lasting peace.

Through targeted interventions in education, grassroots dialogue, policy advocacy, and capacity-building, PNC actively engages with government institutions, civil society organizations, community leaders, youth, and marginalized groups to cultivate a peaceful, inclusive, and cohesive society. PNC is non-partisan and non-religious, focusing solely on building a resilient identity.

The focus areas of PNC include youth development, education, environment, women empowerment and human rights. All these focus areas are aligned in our thematic vision with a cross cutting framework to ensure commonality in objectives of each focus area.

Promoting National Cohesion has a robust governance, administrative and financial structure in place. The Organization is managed through a 25 member General Body which oversees the organizational policy. Moreover, there is a five member Board of Directors which supports the organizational direction and policy implementation as well as supports the immediate affairs of the management. Additionally, the administrative management is conducted through a Senior Management Team led by the Chief Executive Officer. The CEO is appointed by the General Body and also serves as a member of the Board of Directors.
